Chocolatey Chocolate making

 

With a long and distinguished history of chocolate making, York really is the home of chocolate. Join us to learn how to make your own chocolates that you can take home, show off, share or maybe just enjoy.


Mansion House Kitchen

Our Introduction to Chocolate Making workshops will demonstrate the art of chocolate making and take place in the gorgeous setting of the Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of York.

 

 

During the workshop you will:

 

  • Learn how to make your own traditional chocolate truffles
  • Prepare tempered chocolate for making truffles 
  • Create chocolate decorations, shapes and lollipops
  • Beautifully wrap your creations to take home and enjoy
  • Go home with recipes and your newly found chocolate making skills
